Embedded Networks

Are you a property owner with a range of tenants? You can benefit greatly from an embedded network structure. An embedded network is a contract between a building’s owner and an energy retailer where the retailer supplies power to all of the properties in that development.

An embedded network can be established anywhere the electricity infrastructure is privately owned and managed, such as apartment buildings, commercial or industrial properties, or shopping centres.

So if you own the infrastructure of your building, we can create a private electricity network with only one entry point, and then create sub meters for all of your tenants. You can negotiate directly with energy retailers, while creating significant savings for yourself and your tenants.

How does it work? We install one main meter that takes energy (and gives it back if you are using PV solar) from the grid. This energy is then distributed to all of the sub-meters in your building that take energy as they need it, and then it bills residents accordingly.

The combined negotiating power of, for example, a whole apartment block, or a whole shopping centre, increases the opportunity to receive significant discounts from energy retailers and when you pair this with PV solar panels, there is an even greater chance to increase savings, which can create an additional passive revenue stream for building owners.
